The finishing of this leather is brilliant. Silky gloss metallic calf’s leather equipped with a crocodile print with a dull black layer on top. The dull black top layer is applied to the sheet of leather in strips. The larger ventral scales of the crocodile go inside the dull black strip, the smaller scales that are on the flanks of the crocodile are kept more metallic. We have placed the pattern parts on the sheets in our cutting plant in such a manner that the larger black scales fall on the nose of the shoe. Towards the back of the shoe, where the pipes of the trousers go over the shoe a bit, the more metallic flank scales are placed. The result is more than unusual, but still a modest shoe.
