It is always simpler to design sneakers for the summer season than the winter season. In the winter the materials are often heavier and the colours a bit darker. That is more difficult to combine with a pair of good sneakers than fresh summer colours. However, this pair does give me quite some professional joy. The combination of materials goes really well here. The principle for these shoes was the hairy material with the mini zebra print. It is actually a rather daft material. Normally skins that are processed to leather receive a treatment with chalk at the beginning of the tanning process. The chalk ensures that the hairs fall out. As you can see with the leather of this sneaker, this process was skipped. The hairs are still attached to the leather. I can just see me walking away in these.
