“I’ve always been fascinated by birdhouses from a young age. I have owned and tinkered with quite a few, but never has a bird actually sat in one. Not once. From my office, I can see our front yard, which we completely redid ten years ago. There is now a long driveway with cobblestones and lots of greenery. And that's where I finally got it right. Along the driveway, I placed four beautiful, nostalgic garden benches. Sometimes, in summer, I see people cycling through the Brabant countryside taking a break on one of those benches to nibble on a sandwich. When they are done, they take off again.
