“When we started designing this shoe, we more or less knew what we wanted it to look like: a chic shoe that looks a bit casual and is nice and easy to wear. At some point, someone suggested that it should be the perfect shoe for stroll along the boulevard of Knokke. From that moment on, everything fell into place. That’s why we called this line the Knokki (all names of our shoe lines end with an i…) The pattern on the bottom of the sole depicts the view that you have from the Knokke boulevard: sun, sea, sky... and a seagull “decorating” the size indication with its droppings.”
