This year, Floris van Bommel is once again supplying the shoes for "Team Visma-Lease a Bike". Outside of sports competitions, the riders of ‘Team Visma | Lease a Bike’ will wear this official team sneaker all year round.

The sneaker comes in a sporty material mix made of white leather and off-white suede. The ‘Team Visma - Lease a Bike’ brand colours yellow and black have been worked into the detailing of the sneaker as fresh highlights. The clean lines accentuate the technical nature of the sport, and the innovative materials used. As a nod to the team’s branding, part of the suede is finished with a fine hexagon print.

I also have a racing bike. My brother Pepijn and I bought it at the same time. When we picked it up at the bike shop, we ran into a man we knew from our childhood. We chatted a bit and told him that we really wanted to go cycling. We then set off right away to try out the bikes from the store. We drove straight to the forest cafe D'n Bockendriver in Esbeek. Within 45 minutes, we were sitting on the terrace in our brand new cycling outfit enjoying a Trappist beer. Guess who walked onto the terrace? The same guy we met earlier. With a big grin on his face, he gave us a knowing wink. Cycling is a great sport! I wish the ladies and gentlemen of Team Visma - Lease a Bike a lot of victory beers this year.
