“This sole has the typical shape of most classic boat shoes. Boat shoes commonly have small slits on the outsole in order to provide more grip on the slippery deck. We took that classic sole and gave it a nice, modern twist by finishing it with a bright blue, light-weight poro-rubber sole. Such a bright blue sole may come across a little extreme at first, but when worn it is a great, fresh-looking summer shoe that works well with all kinds of outfits. In fact, my brother Pepijn owns a pair. That doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s got good taste, but his girlfriend definitely does and she hasn’t complained to me so far…”
