“This line has a special place in my shoemaker's heart. It's a simple boot that we've been tinkering with for a very long time. With a simple shoe you have to do your best to make it special, given the limited opportunities you have. I dare say that with this boot it's worked out above average. The leather edges along the handmade sole and heel have been tailored to the tenth of a millimetre. The side of the sole is slightly hammered (yes, with actual hammers...) which gives it a sportier look. Along the seam on the top of the shoe and on the heel, the padding between the upper and the lining leather creates a nice curve in the leather. The suede itself is simply fantastic. It is beautiful quality suede that has been treated with oil in a tanning barrel. The amount of oil and the length of the fibre are just perfect, giving it a super luxurious touch. The most eye-catching detail is the yellow spot on the sole. It's not just a simple stain. It's a luxury stain. You have to put a paint vial into the sole mould. The vial pops open when the rubber is spouted into the mould. There's a lot more to tell about this boot. The lining, for instance... top quality and soft as butter! It's of such good quality that when you look at it closely, even as a layman you'll see it right away. I could write a book about this boot. And if it came out, they'd probably fight over the movie rights. If you're gonna go for this boot, put it under a magnifying glass at home!“
